Welcome to the Museum of Fine Arts, where a valuable painting has been stolen! You and your team have been tasked with finding out who stole a valuable painting from the local art museum. Find the suspects, look for clues, and solve the puzzles, and you will find the culprit! It's up to you accept this mission and solve the case and recover the painting before it's too late!

*I am attaching a handout that will be helpful to use for this escape room, but if your learner is unable to print it or have it ready, paper and something to write with will also work!

1. Identify and introduce the five suspects
Look for clues and solve these puzzles:
2. Cipher with a hidden message
3. Fingerprint analysis
4. Find the hidden key
5. Crack the code puzzle (very basic adding and subtracting skills needed)

Hello, and welcome to my profile!

My goal is to guide learners through the enriching world of writing, the practicality of important adulting life skills, and the everyday relevance of consumer math and personal finance. Setting learners up for success now and later on in their life is essential, and I hope to be part of that journey! Recently being recognized as an Outstanding Educator on Outschool in both 2023 and 2024 has further motivated me to create an empowering engaging, and safe learning environment for all learners!

My academic journey led me to acquire a Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Writing, Finance, and Music, topped with a Master’s Degree in Education. I LOVE to learn and share that knowledge with others 🙂. Throughout my teaching tenure, I spent 21 years in a high school setting, am an adjunct professor, and am the proud owner of a private piano studio. With my experience of 26 years in teaching, both online and in-person, I've honed my skills to become a multifaceted educator passionate about fostering growth and knowledge. I am here to help your learners grow and gain confidence!

🌟My teaching approach is patient and hands-on, designed to engage learners of all ability levels. I've worked extensively with a broad spectrum of students, ensuring that learning is accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

🌟My classrooms are a safe and welcoming space where all learners are respected and valued. I celebrate diversity and strive to create an inclusive environment where every student can feel comfortable being themselves while learning and growing.

🌟The courses I offer are as diverse as my experience, covering an expansive range of subjects like writing, literature, consumer math, personal finance, and a host of practical adulting skills.

🌟A little bonus for animal lovers—my cat, Tybalt, often makes a cameo during classes! When I'm not in the virtual classroom, I cherish my time with my three amazing children, play the piano, enjoy a good workout, or unwind with a book at the lake.

🌟My mission goes beyond just teaching—I strive to build confidence in each learner, helping them grow into the best version of themselves. I'm excited to be part of your learning journey here on Outschool. Let's learn and explore together!
