Learning Goals
Students will be able to develop and demonstrate understanding of key ideas and details. Students will actively listen to read-alouds and engage in discussions to ask and answer questions about key story elements, such as characters, setting, and events.
Expand vocabulary and language skills through meaningful exposure to new words. Students will learn and use new vocabulary words from each book, using context clues and discussion to deepen their understanding.
