In this class we will explore the world of some of the greatest inventors and innovators in history. We will discuss their childhood, their influences, and what they did that left a mark on history. We will discuss the differences between them, and how the time period that they lived shaped their inventions. This class will be broken up into 8 week classes. In this class we will explore the world of some of the greatest inventors and innovators in history. We will discuss their childhood, their influences, and what they did that left a mark on history. We will discuss the differences between them, and how the time period that they lived shaped their inventions. No previous knowledge of these people or events is needed.
I have been an educator on Outschool since February of 2018. I have my MBA and MHA, both of which have taught me the value of conducting research and asking questions. I have a passion for history and learning. You can usually find me in the middle of 2-3 books or watching a documentary.

We will discuss slavery and sexism and how some people judge others based on their looks, abilities, or differences. There may be some Youtube videos that are seen during this class. I will share my screen and learners will not need to access them on their own.
