Description

Class Experience

Each week learners will be presented with a short article and short answer response question. The focus of this class is to give students strategies to help them read a passage and write an answer with confidence. This practice usually helps learners feel comfortable to complete school assignments and short answer response questions on tests.

We will discuss the question together to understand what to focus on with the answer. Students will learn to focus on key signal words in the question....

Students will improve their writing skills through ongoing practice.

Lined notebook - Students are expected to please keep the same writing notebook to keep track of their work. Thank you.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:BrainPop
Kahoot

Optional assessment to type paragraphs and post on the Outschool classroom page for teacher feedback.
