This is referred to as the dam notes which relates the movement of electricity and the movement of water. We will be going over basic formulas known as "Ohm's law". This class will give you the basic understanding of voltage, current, and resistance and how the three relate to each other. This is an introduction to electricity and how it works. No students should touch anything with voltage or...
Basic electrical safety. The basic laws of electricity
Katrina has her mechatronics 1 certification with special training in electricity and 4 years of experience. She also has OSHA 10 certification and clearance to work with up to 600 volts (medium voltage).
Notebook, pen
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students should not do electrical work or work with wires that have voltage behind it. This is a basic and introductory course. Electricity can be dangerous and deadly. This class will not feature live demonstrations but rather the principals of electricity. Safety above all else!
