In this one time class we will be relating how electricity to water works in relation to a dam to better understand how electricity works.

In this class we will be using a technique used in colleges and high schools across the country. This is referred to as the dam notes which relates the movement of electricity and the movement of water. We will be going over basic formulas known as "Ohm's law". Students should not do electrical work or work with wires that have voltage behind it. This is a basic and introductory course. Electricity can be dangerous and deadly. This class will not feature live demonstrations but rather the principals of electricity. Safety above all else!
