In this class we will be using a technique used in colleges and high schools across the country. This is referred to as the dam notes which relates the movement of electricity and the movement of water. We will be going over basic formulas known as "Ohm's law". This class will give you the basic understanding of voltage, current, and resistance and how the three relate to each other. This is an introduction to electricity and how it works. No students should touch anything with voltage or that could have voltage behind it. We will also discuss electrical safety at the beginning of class.

Parental Guidance
Students should not do electrical work or work with wires that have voltage behind it. This is a basic and introductory course. Electricity can be dangerous and deadly. This class will not feature live demonstrations but rather the principals of electricity. Safety above all else!
