Description
Class Experience
Basic electrical safety. The basic laws of electricity
Katrina has her mechatronics 1 certification with special training in electricity and 4 years of experience. She also has OSHA 10 certification and clearance to work with up to 600 volts (medium voltage).
Notebook, pen
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students should not do electrical work or work with wires that have voltage behind it. This is a basic and introductory course. Electricity can be dangerous and deadly. This class will not feature live demonstrations but rather the principals of electricity. Safety above all else!
