In this course, students will be introduced to the anatomy of the lungs in an interactive way. Students will learn the function of lungs and anatomy of our lungs. Students will conclude class by making their own working model of the lungs!

No prior experience is needed for this class. Learners will interact with the teacher and classmates through slides and class discussion. Class will begin with an introduction, following by instruction through content slides. Students will learn the following: What is the Respiratory System? Physical Structure of the lungs Lung Functions Major Anatomical Structures inside the Lungs Students will conclude class by creating a working model of the lungs using two simple materials. Teacher is currently an Emergency Medical Technician and Masters of Biotechnology student with extensive knowledge of human anatomy and medicine.
Learners will need 2 balloons (extra just in case) , scissors, and a water bottle.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please note students will need to use scissors briefly during STEAM activity.
