By the end of this lesson, students will be able to define the role and responsibilities of a babysitter, explain the importance of communication and building trust with parents, and identify professional qualities of a good babysitter.

Child Development and Age-Appropriate Activities
By the end of this lesson, students will be able to understand basic child development stages (infants, toddlers, school-age), develop a list of age-appropriate games, crafts, and activities and learn strategies for keeping children engaged and entertained.

Essential Caregiving Skills
By the end of this lesson, students will be able to demonstrate proper diaper changing techniques and hygiene practices, understand basic feeding routines and meal preparation for children, apply calming techniques for managing tantrums and difficult behaviors.
