Space exploration is common in science fiction movies, but what about actual space life? That’s what this class is all about! We will learn about how astronauts carry on every day life in space. Little things that you may not have thought about such as: Do they brush their teeth? How do they eat? How do they use the restroom? Do they sleep for months like in the movies? Do they have to sit with their seatbelts on until they land on planet? Many, many more questions will be answered! We will watch short video footage of real astronauts in space and discuss what they do and why they do it. This class is an open platform for discussion and making predictions before coming to our conclusions. This class will definitely have your learner thinking more about just the stars and planets in space. This class will have a relaxed-set tone to ensure each learner is comfortable to ask questions and be a heard part of the learning community.
Learning Goals
The learner will learn facts about space life from an astronaut’s point of view.
