Turning iconic Studio Ghibli characters into artistic representations through Pop Art Basic Drawing Techniques Basic Painting Techniques Gaining independence through flex style classes

Learners will work at their own pace and may take as much time or as little time as they need each week for a painting. Learners are asked to post their work on the Outschool Classroom page to give and receive feedback. Learners are asked to engage with other posts that are created throughout the four weeks in the Outschool Classroom.
Supplies Needed: A variety of round and flat paintbrushes in a variety of sizes used for Acrylic Painting A variety of Acrylic Paints (Suggested: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Brown, Black, and White but learners may use any colors they choose to encourage their artistic expression. Videos will stick with the original colors of all characters) Pencils Erasers Four 6 x6 Inch Mini Canvases Rag or Cloth to clean and dry brushes when changing paint colors Container of water to clean brushes as needed (Please note: Acrylic paints do stain so dress and cover work areas accordingly)
No live meetings, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
