Class Experience

By the end of this class, learners will:

- Understand the differences between quotes, summaries, and paraphrases.
- Understand when to use paraphrases in their research papers.
- Understand how to paraphrasing effectively.
- Practice quoting and paraphrasing and receive feedback.
I am an experienced teacher of writing and researching skills.
Handouts will be provided through the Classroom page. Although no external resources will be required to complete this class, additional resources on the internet may be recommended so that students can continue their learning long after the class has ended.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 10 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
