includedClass Experience
US Grade 5 - 8
This course will teach the fundamental of traditional cursive handwriting in five letter groups. (For example, letters A-E will be week two of the course.) The class is structured with videos to watch, pause, practice, and review. My teaching style is very student-focused and visual. Learners will interact by practicing writing each letter both during class and between class. Practice is what makes one better at handwriting, especially cursive handwriting.
Learning Goals
Each student will gain fundamental knowledge and application on the historical value of cursive handwriting, applying it to their own life and learn how to properly write in upper and lower case form.

Other Details
Pre-Requisites
Students must know the print letters of the American English alphabet.
Supply List
Students will need paper and pencil/pens for this course. Digital writing is not recommended to learn proper cursive handwriting, though some practice may occur on a digital device. I strongly encourage parents to require students to use traditional paper and pencil/pen.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Sources
A classic dictionary would be helpful for students as they expand their vocabulary and learn letters of the alphabet in cursive.
