The Art of Conversation: Small Talk and More Summer Camp is designed for kids that struggle with social cues, social anxiety, and knowing what to say. Learners benefit greatly and build confidence from more opportunities to practice their social skills! As the new school year begins students are faced with more anxiety as they think about talking to new people. This camp is designed to gently ease them back into in-person conversations and provide helpful tools for social interactions. Our 4-day camp meets for 45 minutes Tuesday - Friday. Students will receive a handout to make cue cards so they can practice their conversation skills in between sessions. Additionally, they will interact with their peers to practice the previous days' lessons. Positive and constructive feedback will be provided and learners will end the camp with increased confidence in their ability to interact in social situations.
