Class experience
I was nine when I received my first calligraphy set and was fortunate enough to have a teacher who inspired me to learn what would become a lifetime of sharing beautiful manuscript! This is a course for learning the art of italic calligraphy. The course is designed for young students who desire to craft beautiful hand written cards, letters, or just about anything that involves beautiful hand writing. The course will introduce students to the basic technique and hand positioning for creating...
Students will need calligraphy markers with 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0 nibs. These can be purchased at any Hobby Lobby, Michael's, Walmart, Staples, or Amazon. Students will also need lined paper. No previous calligraphy experience is required. Students will not be assigned homework but are encourage to practice between lessons.
