Class Experience
"I love to draw, I just don't know what to draw!!" Does this sound like you? The best way to get better at drawing is to draw and draw often. You can draw anything from animals to people, or dragons to landscapes; You can even draw the things that are in front of your eyes. See the colors, contrast, hues, textures that an artist sees when looking at everyday objects. In this weekly club I will offer you drawing prompts to get your creative ideas flowing. Below is a list of materials students will use throughout the club. Refer to the description for specific dates and when the each of the given materials will be used. Sketch Pencils (Variety between 9H-9B), Eraser, Acrylic Paint, Paint Brushes, Colored Pencils, Tortillons, Water Color Paint (or Water Color Pencils), Alcohol Markers or Blending Markers, Fineliner, White Gelly Roll Pen (or White Paint Marker), Paint Markers, Charcoal (Sticks or Pencils), and Oil Pastels
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
