Class Experience

I am a practicing architectural designer in the world of residential design. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Design and a Master's Degree in Architecture. I have been sharing my passion of architecture through architectural camps and classes for children since 1999.
Students shall provide the following:
- recycled materials for construction - these could be toilet paper tubes, toilet paper tubes, cardboard, construction paper, or other similar materials.
- scissors (*The student should be comfortable with cutting as we will be cutting a lot of shapes throughout the lesson).
- crayons, markers, or colored pencils (Parents can choose what medium would be best for their child)
- Tape
- Materials your child sees fit to help with construction and stability. Materials will vary from home to home and student to student. I will guide them based on their particular materials and therefore projects will differ in appearance.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental guidance is suggested when students are using scissors on their project.
