This is a great first step to introducing your child to anatomy. I will be discussing the parts and functions of the human heart. I encourage note-taking, questions and discussion. This will be a casual and fun interactive class in which the students will do an open-note exercise to test their knowledge at the end of the class. There is no previous knowledge of the human heart or anatomy required. If students/parents would like, they can follow up this class with other future anatomy lessons...

I am a certified instructor trained by the American Red Cross with over 20 years of experience with teaching the general public, Boy Scouts of America, and within various after school programs. I am certified by the Boy Scouts of America in their Youth Protection Program. I am also a Boy Scout Merit Badge Counselor.
