You may have heard of the Bermuda Triangle, but have you heard of the Alaska Triangle? A place that may be even more mysterious than the famous Bermuda Triangle! This class is intended for students who want to learn some general knowledge about the Alaska Triangle and hear some fascinating stories about suspicious stories of missing people. In this class, I will provide some background knowledge on the Alaska Triangle and some of the theories that have been created to explain what happens there. Then, I will share stories about unsolved mysteries that surround the Alaska Triangle. Students will be given the opportunity to examine each story and brainstorm what they think happened. Was it aliens? Bad weather? Energy vortexes? Are they alive still and trapped in the triangle? There are many possibilities and we will explore them together! Students will be able to participate and share their ideas and opinions throughout the class. Together we will dive deep into this fascinating, yet, very mysterious place and become engulfed in the stories that have created this legend! At the end of class, students will participate in a fun game of Kahoot to test the knowledge they have learned!
Learning Goals
Students will have a general understanding of what the Alaska Triangle is and why there is so much fascination and mystery surrounding this topic.
