In this ongoing book club we will discuss and complete novel study activities about "The Adventures of Sophie Mouse" series. These stories about Sophie and her animal friends are so sweet. I'm sure your learner will love these early chapter books as much as I do!

Class Experience
Learners will read one book from "The Adventures of Sophie Mouse" series per week on their own before class. Then we will come together and discuss, answer questions, review the book and more! We will do different things each week. We may do: a word jumble, create a comic, a story map, character analysis, discuss setting, etc. I love these stories and would love to have your learner in my class! Learners must either check "The Adventures of Sophie Mouse" books out from the library or buy their own copy. We will be referring to the book during class. Also I have included some sheets in my Welcome Message to be printed before class that we will use during class. If you do not have access to a printer your learner may write on plain paper.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
