This 55 minute class is designed to help learners get things done using the well known strategy of body doubling. Body doubling has been shown to help improve focus, task initiation, and follow through in ADHDer's. The goal of this class is to help learners tackle their own real life task's in a structured, encouraging, and ADHD informed environment. In this class learners will identify a specific task or project that they would like to work on or get done. Examples include tasks such as; homework, chores, organizing, and personal creative projects. With the help of a certified ADHD coach learners will practice setting an achievable and actionable work goal before working on it in real time. This group offers learners a positive environment that celebrates progress and acknowledges the unique way that the ADHD brain functions. As an ADHDer herself the teacher will be working along side the learners and checking in at various times to help the learners stay on track or set new working goals. 🔧 Class Structure Each class includes: Welcome & Check-In Learners say hello, share what they plan to work on, and set a clear goal with support from the teacher.
