- There will be a blank map of the world, a blank map of each country, and a blank flag of each country to fill in daily (for 4 days per week) and learners can upload them either daily or weekly for feedback. - These tasks are optional and are just for further enrichment to help solidify the new knowledge that the learners will have from this course.
- A blank "flag" handout will be supplied (PDF) with each class for the learners to colour-in and draw the details of the flags of the countries of that class. - Blank maps will also be supplied (PDF) to be filled in and coloured in as applicable. - Learners will need pencils or crayons or alike for colouring in their flags and maps. - A multiple choice quiz will be handed out on Thursday of the final / fourth week in PDF format to be completed and uploaded as per the instructions in the "assessment" section.
- There will be an optional multiple choice quiz on Friday of the fourth / final week with 2 questions regarding each of the 16 countries they have studied = 32 questions. - If students would like feedback, they can upload their quiz either to the classroom or privately in a message to the teacher for marking and feedback during the final weekend of this course.
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
- When applicable, I will screen share slides from Google Slides, and I will share media from YouTube in our classroom. - Learners are not required to access anything on the internet outside of Outschool for this class.
