Class Experience

Students will listen to the read aloud, "The 3 Little Pigs."  They will talk about the 3 houses that the pigs built and why they did not withstand the big bad wolf's blowing.  They will then make their own house that they believe will withstand the wolf.  This can be done with just paper, or things from home or from outside in the yard.  For example: sticks, straw, paper, etc.
