I will be running this class with my own children for their homeschool, and they would love it to be an Outschool class so that they can learn with their friends whilst I am teaching them!
Homework Offered
- There will be a blank map of the world, a blank map of each country, and a blank flag of each country to fill in daily (for 5 days per week) and learners can upload them either daily or weekly for feedback. - These tasks are optional and are just for further enrichment to help solidify the new knowledge that the learners will have from this course.
0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
- There will be an optional multiple choice quiz on Friday of the 20th/final week with 1 question regarding each of the 100 countries they have studied = 100 questions. - If students would like feedback, they can upload their quiz either to the classroom or privately in a message to the teacher for marking and feedback during the final weekend of this course.
Grades Offered
- A blank "flag" handout will be supplied (PDF) with each class for the learners to colour-in and draw the details of the flags of the countries of that class.
- Blank maps will also be supplied (PDF) to be filled in and coloured in as applicable.
- Learners will need pencils or crayons or alike for colouring in their flags and maps.
- A multiple choice quiz will be handed out on Thursday of the final (20th) week in PDF format to be completed and uploaded as per the instructions in the "assessment" section.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
