Description
Class Experience
In this semester long course, students will learn in great detail about some of the world's most powerful empires, as well as its most prominent leaders. Students will learn how these empires were formed, how long they lasted, the influence they had on the world, and how/why they fell apart. This course will suit anyone who has an interest in history and wants to learn more about our history's major superpowers! Students will learn it detail about some of our histories most powerful empires and leaders.
I have been teaching and studying history for many years. I have specifically taught this course previously to students and have a deep passion for this subject. Aside from conducting a lot of research on this area, I have also wrote countless research articles supported by factual evidence on these important historical figures! With over 5 years of experience teaching this specific subject to students online, my teaching is backed up by my strong knowledge on this topic.
There will be homework each week, which will consist of a short answer worksheet as well as a discussion question which will be posted in the classroom dashboard.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Graphic/violent material may be discussed. -e.g. Violent content depicting details of wars/battles, cruel acts enacted by empire leaders (e.g. executions), as well as other questionable immoral decisions made by empire leaders. (e.g. violation of human rights, suppression of freedom of speech, work camps... etc.)
