Description
Class Experience
Students will fully develop a character that will be used in the creation of a writing piece following the elements of plot in narrative writing.
Students will work independently in the first session as they work through the process of developing a character. In the second session, students will work collaboratively to develop multiple story starters that they could use in developing a narrative piece. In the third session, the student will then present their narrative piece using a story starter or variation of a story starter that they created. In this session, the student will also receive feedback to help them make their writing better.
Your student will need to have a notebook and writing utensil or use Google Docs/Word.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
