Class Experience

In this class I will be your personal painting instructor and teach your child their how to paint a Thanksgiving Turkey using acrylic paint on an 8x10 canvas. The process will be step by step so that everyone can feel successful with their creation. We begin with painting simple shapes. We will cover simple painting techniques using flat and round paint brushes. I will also go over brush care so that students can keep their paint brushes in tip top shape. This class is also meant to be a time for social engagement and interaction as we paint. Students are encouraged to embellish their paintings and add their own creative ideas. At the end of class we share our works of art (students may opt out of sharing their work).

For private party requests, we will work together to coordinate the day and time for the class and choosing a painting theme. I will provide you with a supply list & suggested paint colors for the painting theme you choose, as well as a private link for guests to register for the party. The price listed is per guest. I require a minimum of 3 guests for a private party booking. If you choose to pay for your guests, you can register them directly through Outschool and pay on their behalf. If attendees are paying for the class individually, then a private link will be provided that you can forward to each guest to sign up.

Learning Goals
