In this one-time class, learners will listen to the read aloud How to Catch a Turkey by Adam Wallace. At the beginning of class, learners will introduce themselves. We will read the story and discuss vocabulary found in the story along with guessing what will happen next. After the story, learners will have the opportunity of working on a sequencing activity on how to catch their own turkey. We will discuss steps (first, next, then, last), and activities to be successful. We will then work on our turkey craft.
