Description
Class Experience
In this one time class, learners will learn about pie and create a pie garland decoration of their own. I will also provide printables for after class that will include some of my favorite pie recipes for learners to try on their own. Class will begin with a brief introduction time, which is an important skill to practice. Next, we will learn a bit about what makes pies so special. Then, we will make a fun fall or Thanksgiving themed pie garland together. During class, learners will have...
There are 2 types of garland that can be made, one with construction paper and one with felt, either will work and both can last, especially if the construction paper ones are laminated later. For class, however, I will be using felt, and I would recommend felt, but I know it isn't an everyday item to have. Beyond the felt or construction paper, learners will need glue, scissors, cardboard (small amount), and twine or yarn (though twine is sturdier). If you have any questions, please let me know.
