Thanksgiving Party: Preschool and Kindergarten Fun
In this one time class, preschool and kindergarten students will share what they are thankful for, sing some songs about being grateful and about turkeys, and make a fun turkey themed craft.

This class will be a fun Thanksgiving party for preschool age children. We will begin by talking about what it means to feel grateful or thankful. Then we will take turns sharing what we are thankful for! After sharing, we will create a turkey craft using brown, orange, and red construction paper, a coffee filter, markers, glue, and a spray bottle with water in it. We will also be learning some songs and finger plays throughout the class about being thankful and about turkeys. This class will be very interactive and entertaining, as well as have some structured learning involved! NOTE: This class is only available in NOVEMBER :-)

a coffee filter (this will be the turkey's feathers) brown paper cut into an oval and a circle (this will be the turkeys body and head) orange paper cut into a triangle (for the turkey's beak) red paper (for the turkey's gobbler) markers (must be markers, not crayons!) small spray bottle with water in it glue

Hello to Everyone! My name is Miss Meghan and I can’t wait to meet your child. I enjoy teaching a variety of classes for preschool and early elementary ages.
I hold a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education. At the beginning of my career, I worked extensively with children with autism in home settings designing programs to help students access the world around them in an empowering way. After my oldest daughter was born, I became a licensed childcare provider creating a home away from home for many children to grow and learn. When my youngest daughter was born, I decided it was time to explore other options and that is how I landed at Outschool. I am so grateful for this opportunity and love meeting new learners from all over the world.
I have a passion for instilling a love of learning in young children through exposure, messy play, and fun! I strongly believe that letting children delve into learning at their own level and allowing for different types of learning styles sets children up for a life long learning journey.
In addition to teaching on Outschool, I also homeschool my two daughters who are my pride and joy. I feel so grateful to have a career that I love that also affords me the opportunity to spend time with my own children as well. In my free time, I enjoy art, brainstorming new lesson ideas, cross stitch, and reading!
