I do not have specific homework for the students. The journals are magical and become part of the student. They may want to work on their journal set-up outside of class. I will also encourage students to write in their journals on a daily basis.
notebook or blank journal, markers, glue, scissors, pencils Optional: Students may want to use magazines to cut out pictures, photographs, stickers, and/or washi tape. This is not necessary for the class.
No assessment. Hopefully, parents will witness progress by observing more smiles on their child's face.
2 hours 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
I will provide printables that will increase the magic of the journals. Every child is different. Parents will decide if their child needs assistance during the class with scissors and glue.
