Thanksgiving Fun: Show & Tell, Story, Directed Draw, and Dance Party!

In this one time class students will listen to "Turkey Troubles". After reading the storry the students will draw their very own Turkey! We will end our class with a fun dance party!

Description

Class Experience

First, the students will introduce themselves to the class.  Students are encouraged to bring their favorite stuffed animal or favorite toy to class for a short show and tell when they first introduce themselves. Next, students will listen to me read Turkey Trouble, written by Wendi Silvano and Lee Harper.  I will share pictures from the book and we will discuss the story plot.  After we read the students will complete a simple directed drawing of a turkey.  I will guide them step by step as...

Your child will need a white piece of paper, a pencil, and crayons.  They may also bring a stuffy or toy to class for a quick "show & tell".

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
