Thanksgiving Fun: Craft, Socializing, Math, and Writing Projects

In this class, students will begin by practicing some socializing skills with their peers and teacher. Next, we will learn a Thanksgiving song which we will practice each week to help improve student fluency! The students will follow my step-by-step directions to create a turkey craft together. We will also learn some facts about turkeys. Please see supply list below to be sure you are prepared for each class! Each class, students will be working on fine-motor skills, such as cutting, gluing, and writing. Here are some other skills we will be working on during our classes together: *During our first class, students will be talking and writing about things we are thankful for. (Parent support with writing is appreciated and helpful.) *During our second class, students will be working on math skills: counting, comparing numbers, and greater than/less than. *During our third class, students will be learning about patterns and working on making some patterns on their turkey craft. Students will be engaged throughout class and we will be working together to share things we are thankful for this holiday! During this class, students will practice their social skills, reading fluency, colors, fine-motor skills, and math skills! Parent support (off-camera) is appreciated, especially for the younger learners! I look forward to celebrating this special time of year counting our blessings together and having some turkey fun! I hope to see you in class soon!

Class 1-1 lunch size brown paper bag (or sheet of brown construction paper), red, yellow, orange, green construction paper (or white paper that you can color), black marker, glue, scissors, pencil Class 2-1 sheet of white paper, crayons/markers, colored M & M's OR Skittles, glue Class 3-1 empty toilet paper roll, 1 white paper plate, colored tissue paper (or construction paper), markers, glue, scissors, tape or stapler (with parent help)
