Students in this class will learn how to create their own Thanksgiving icon, a turkey, drawing and painting. During this class, will learn how to use lines to create shapes. This class will be structured informally. Students will be encouraged to be creative and to socialize throughout the lesson. I will teach using a demonstration format. My teaching style is laid back. Learners will get to interact with me and the other students throughout the lesson. The only requirement for interaction is that all interactions must be respectful of all members of the class. There is no prior experience needed. Parental Guidance
While the class is creating a Thanksgiving icon, a turkey, drawing, and painting, the teacher will not discuss Thanksgiving outside of the context of the painting. If acrylic paints are used, please note that they do not wash out of clothing if they get on clothing.
