US Grade 3 - 6
Students will discuss the importance of writing a thank you letter. They will review several types of thank you letters, discussing each one and providing feed back on key points. Students will make note of the main components of an excellent thank you letter. They will work as a group (or in groups depending on class number) to create a thank you letter together, which will be read and reviewed in class. Students should have basic writing ability (spelling is not necessary) to participate in this class.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their understanding of what a thank you letter is. They will work on recognizing a good thank you letter and practice creating their own letter.

Students will need to have a writing tool and something to use the tool on (pen/pencil and paper; whiteboard and marker, etc).
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
