US Grade 3 - 6
There have been many well-loved toys in history, but these DEFINITELY don't make the list! Despite the best efforts of toymakers, some toys turn out dangerous, defective, creepy, or downright disgusting. Students will learn and laugh as they discover 10 of the most terrible toys ever made. I will use a self-made PowerPoint featuring visuals such as pictures and videos to present this information. I will encourage participation with discussion questions and check for understanding and foster engagement with some mini-quizzes built into the presentation. Students do not need any prior knowledge or skills to take and enjoy this class. I accommodate and celebrate all learners in my classroom. I am known for my energetic, humorous, and passionate teaching style. I have taught hundreds of classes on Outschool and am an experienced, life-long educator.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to list at least 3 terrible toys discussed in class and explain what made them so bad.
Other Details
Parental Guidance
A few of these toys made the list because they are dangerous or creepy-looking.

Sources
I have collected information about toys of the past and present from people of all ages who owned these toys, and also from various websites about vintage and current toys. YouTube videos of these toys in action provided further information about the toys I chose to spotlight for this class.
