There have been many well-loved toys in history, but these DEFINITELY don't make the list! Despite the best efforts of toymakers, some toys turn out dangerous, defective, creepy, or downright disgusting. Students will learn and laugh as they discover 10 of the most terrible toys ever made. I have a master's degree in teaching and over 18 years of experience in education. I am a certified teacher in the state of Iowa and have taught students of all ages.
A few of these toys made the list because they are dangerous or creepy-looking.
I have collected information about toys of the past and present from people of all ages who owned these toys, and also from various websites about vintage and current toys. YouTube videos of these toys in action provided further information about the toys I chose to spotlight for this class.
