Students will learn about how William George Keith Elphinstone mishandled his part in the Anglo-Afghan War.
I have a degree in History and Political Science. I have been teaching historical subjects for 6 years. I am well versed in Colonial history which includes Africa and the Middle East.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
This topic involves a famous military defeat, so there will be talk of dead soldiers in this class. This class will also feature a time period covering the subject of colonialism in Afghanistan and the British treatment of the local Afghans. There will be talk about the oppression and later banditry that would occur around this region and time, and the massacre itself will talk about the brutality of what happened to the British forces.
