In this ongoing class, students will come together to socialize and play what they love, Terraria! We will be playing Terraria with students all across the world. Each ongoing class, there will be a challenge given by the teacher (some challenges may include: build a two story house, build a farm, library, find and defeat an epic enemy, etc. Students will be broken into groups to create and work together on the challenge. Each group will show and explain their challenge task (side note: you may not finish your creation...this is alright). This class will focus on team building and communication/listening activity. All rules will be discussed at the beginning of each class. I have designed this class for student to be able to relax, have fun, and socialize with others who have a the same passion! ***Please note players should have Terraria purchased in the Steam platform installed before the class begins*** ***Please note each class changes based on the progress of the group. *** ***Please note, the majority of classes are currently being conducted on a modded terraria world, the mod is decided by the group by the end of each playthrough. *** We will be providing new learners with gear to match the current stage of the game, once we defeat the version we will create a brand new world with different properties.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi there! Welcome to my classroom!
I'm a video game analyst that has been working within the video game industry for about 12 years. Video games have been a very meaningful part of my life.
At a very young age I learned and reinforced my English just by playing video games and I strongly believe that video games are a gateway to learning meaningful skills such as teamwork, mental reflexes, communication, languages and many more other skills.
I focus on the multiplayer experiences that allow us to socialize with friends from anywhere in the world while working towards a similar goal.
In my free time, I build computers, play video games, ride electric skateboards and spend time with my daughter. Roleplaying with her in Roblox and seeing her use her imagination to create assorted characters has been heartwarming and enlightening.
I strongly believe, video games can be a great source of education and I am here to teach young students not just how to play the game but how to improve communication within online video games allowing you to win more and enjoy the games more.
