Telling Time With Fancy Nancy!

Let’s learn to tell time!! I will begin class reading, “Fancy Nancy, Tell the Time”. We will brainstorm ideas of the importance of telling time. I will then introduce them to the hands in the clock. I will display a clock and we will practice telling time to the hour and half hour. We will complete a worksheet together writing the times that are shown on the clock. Students will then complete an activity on their own so I can assess their understanding of telling time.. I will provide...

As an elementary teacher for years, I have taught telling time to many students. I have found students learn this concept best in small groups and hands on activities.
Handouts will be sent prior to class by the teacher.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
