What will be taught? Students will be taught fun childhood songs to practice telling time to the hour. Students will learn difference between analog and digital clocks. They will learn the numbers on an analog clock and the times that people typically wake up, eat lunch, eat dinner, and go to bed. Students will also have the opportunity to draw their own clock and write the numbers in order. Parent guidance may be required to keep younger students focused. What prior knowledge does my child need for this class? Students do not need to be able to tell time for this course. If your child already knows the basics of the clock, that is great! The class will continue to enforce this knowledge as they apply the knowledge into singing and creating a clock! Students should be able to write numbers up to 12. Parents are encouraged to assist students that are still learning to write numbers. What materials are needed for this class? A printed copy of the blank clock Crayons, markers, or a pencil 2 pipe cleaners- 1 cut for the hour hand and 1 cut for the minute hand
