In this class we will be learning how to tell time on an analog clock. Children should be able to recognize numbers and count by 5's. We will talk about the hour hand and the minute hand, what a quarter past, half, past, quarter til, and o'clock mean. I will show them how the hands move around the clock and what different times are. After getting comfortable with what is on the clock students will tell me what time I set my clock at and then will set their own clocks to the time I ask them...
Just keep practicing!
I will have a blank clock worksheet that will need to be printed out before class and a pencil will be needed to draw on the clock.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Lets have fun learning
