In this ongoing social class, learners will be invited to share a story or an item and be encouraged to elaborate and answer peer questions.

Sometimes, kids just need to talk! Learners will come to show and tell prepared with something to talk about. It could be a favorite toy or fluffy friend; it could be a story about going to the park with a friend; it could be about cooking with a parent; it could be...anything! This will grow into a conversation where learners are asked to add on, and say more about a topic, allowing them to hone in a small details that are important in story telling. This ability to story tell should also increase a learner's ability to plan and write a story (not part of this class). Ideally for pre k, kindergarten, first and second graders. Week 1 1/10: tell a story Week 2 1/17: bring a toy! Week 3: 1/24: bring something special! Week 4 1/31: tell us about someone you know!
