Description
Class Experience
Learn how to develop speeches, PowerPoint presentation and how to deliver powerful public speaking. In each weekly class I will give quick and easy tips on how to use visual aids and props, incorporate body language into their presentations, and more. This class is aimed at developing a better understanding of how group communication works. With time and practice, you are sure to see improvements in your ability to communicate and an increase in your confidence as well.
I am offering this class because I enjoy helping people with issues with public speaking get past the fear and hesitation of public speaking. I have taught this for many years. I pride myself in my abilities to help people learn the skills needed to bridge the gap between good public speaking and great public speaking. I have a unique way of connecting with people. I making others comfortable and confident in their ability to learn and execute.
Practicing tone and body language. To be submitted via classroom video. Drafting a short speech/essay. Will be paired with a peer to practice via video submission in the classroom. One class a week 1 hour weekly.
Each student will need writing tablet for note taking. This class requires writing utensils pen and pencil.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Parents are encouraged to practice with the student to help with any the student research.
