Class Experience

US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - Kindergarten

We will looking at numbers from 11-19. We will start the class by Greeting everyone. Then we will look the tens bars and the ones with the help of Montessori teens board.
Children should have a basic understanding of numbers from  1-10 before the class
Children will then do a little activity worksheet, where they will color the ten bars and ones and write numbers from 11-19.

I am very calm and I come with a lot of patience, I believe in holistic development and lots of interaction with the children. Teaching is my passion and I love to see the children grow and learn and most importantly to have fun.

Learning Goals

Students will learn and visualize as numbers are increasing the quantities are increasing too. They will have a better understanding on the teen numbers, tens bars and ones.

Supply List

I will sending a worksheet which we will be doing in the class. Please print the worksheet, and have color pencils ( red, green pink, yellow, light blue, dark blue, purple, and brown), pencil and easer ready.

External Resources

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello and welcome to my page, I am so glad you’re here. I am Ms. Nadya! I am a Montessori certified teacher and have been teaching since the past 13 years. This past summer, with COVID19 cases on the rise, I made the difficult decision, for the safety of my family, to leave my job at a Montessori school and started offering virtual classes. There has been no looking back since! I am thankful for the tremendous response to my online cases which allows me to safely do what I am passionate about and has also been a source of relief for the parents who are able to keep their families safe without compromising on the quality of the education.

I have expertise in the Montessori curriculum and believe in the holistic approach to teaching which enables overall development and enforces critical thinking in the child. I will be offering Montessori Math, Language, Science and Culture classes.

A little about me, I have an incredibly supportive husband (who has been ever so helpful and patient with the boxes and boxes of teaching supplies that have been arriving at our house!) and a wonderful son who is about to turn 11! I like to volunteer my time at our community Early Childhood Development Center where I am currently serving as the Principal.
