In this interactive, hands-on baking class, teens will learn 5 classic breakfast breads. They will learn the following recipes: Week 1: Yeast-Raised Donuts Week 2: Cinnamon Rolls Week 3: Scones Week 4: Bagels Week 5: Danish Learners can submit weekly photos of their creations (1 recipe will be made per week) for teacher feedback and assistance. There will also be fun fact trivia and/or discussion board questions. Students will be given recipes but will also be given ideas on how to change...
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will be using knives, stovetops, ovens, deep fryers (if available - or a pot with oil and a thermometer) and mixers for this class. Please make sure your student feels comfortable with these items or have parental supervision available. Allergies in these recipes: egg, dairy, wheat
