Teen Talk: Social Group for Teen Girls
This is a positive, safe space and social group for teen girls to meet and talk about the things they care about. This can range from social issues and school, to pop culture, feminism, self care, makeup, and any other hobbies or interests!
This class provides an opportunity for teen girls to meet and have some social interaction as they connect with other students from varying backgrounds. Every week will have a discussion topic to get things started. In addition, each student will have an opportunity to share how their week is going, and if they have done anything fun or discovered any new hobbies! Having time to interact with peers and chat about life can be an important aspect of self care that is often overlooked....
Students will have an opportunity to make friends and discuss their hobbies and interests. This will help strengthen communication skills as well as giving students a boost in confidence as they are able to talk about their own goals, achievements, and feelings.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
