Class Experience

If your looking for a club for younger gamers, I've got you covered.

This club involves weekly game play and challenges in Fortnite Creative & Battle Royale. Gamers can also work together to learn new, or strengthen, in-game skills. They will even pick their own Creative challenges. If your a new gamer or very experienced, there's an entry point for everyone. I can give extra attention and assistance to the newbies and hopefully give a challenge to the masters.

In this club the focus is on:
* Meeting and connecting with new friends
* Being a good winner and loser
* Team work
* Strategy
* Improving your Fortnite Skills
* Socializing over updates and all things old and new in Fortnite

At the beginning of class, log in and send me a friend request (you will get this upon entry). Then I'll add you to the private party.

Florida Teaching Certificate in Social Studies/History
I have always been very curious and creative and I love to inspire it in kids (both my own and others) as well. I like to teach through projects, which give students a choice on the way they learn and show their understanding. I also love to teach through games and like to combine game elements in my classes.

I believe history, studied in context, to be extremely important. In fact, it's one of our best teachers. The other "subject" I believe to be of high importance is Logic. Unfortunately, logic has long been left off most curriculums. Knowing how to examine events and history through logical thinking and analysis gives us a deep, true understanding of our world.

I'm a big believer in every parent having all the need to school their children all the way through high school. So, if you are ever in doubt, let me encourage you.

My educational consulting company, It's A Potsick Education, exists to build up curious, creative learners. I do custom content/lesson design, private, online events, consulting, and more. Message me for anything you need.

I was a classroom teacher in the public schools for over 15 years and, for the past 14 years, have been helping my wife homeschool as well. I currently hold state certifications in Florida (certificate # 960883) in the areas of Middle Grades Social Science and Language Arts and Elementary Education. I have extensive classroom experience with all Elementary and Middle Grades subject content and have done private tutoring for many years in Math, Civics, Science, and Language Arts.

Contact me anytime to share any classes you would like me teach, for classes you really wanted to take, but didn't fit your schedule, or any feedback.
