My goal in this class is to get kids off of the couch and back to being active. Each class will begin with a warm up for the muscle groups being used during the workout. We will then complete a new work out of the day. All movements will be unweighted, making it safe for children of all ages. I will coach each child on the movements of the workout before we get started. If your child is 12 or older, I will give modifications for those interested in adding in the use of light dumbbells. The content of this course will change often, possibly weekly, so taking it multiple times or continuously would be valuable. Of course I will keep the format and intention as I adjust the workouts. Your child needs no experience to join this fitness class, and will benefit greatly from this high intensity interval training!

Parental Guidance
Before engaging in any physical fitness class, parents should be certain that the activity is safe for their child. Additionally, please make sure the space your child uses for this class has ample room to move safely, and that your child is wearing proper shoes and attire.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have been an elementary school teacher since 2006, and have been blessed with classrooms full of children from grades pre-k to 5th. In every grade taught, my main goals remain the same; I want students to grow a love for seeking and learning just as much as I want them to grow academically.
When I am away from the classroom, you will find me spending time with my family, playing with my labradoodle pup, reading, trying new recipes, and being physically active. I enjoy hiking the Sonoran Desert, dancing, weight lifting, and yoga.
