This class is taught in French.
They will learn vocabulary and practice reading in French. How to pronounce the letters and the combination of letters. They will learn to read and speak French with the proper intonation.
I have over 20 years of experience in teaching languages (French and Italian) and I hold a certificate in teaching French as a Foreign Language. "Enseigner le français en langue étrangère aujourd'hui" by the Alliance Française de Vichy, France.
There is no homework. Students can practice what they have been learning in class but it is optional.
A one-page handout will be provided. A pencil and color crayons or markers.
I do informal assessments as we go during the lessons to evaluate their learning progress.
2 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
