Description
Class Experience
By the end of the six-weeks, I hope that the aspiring entrepreneurs will have brainstormed, created a business plan, and started their businesses.
I've been self-employed for the last 13 years. I run two successful small businesses (voice teaching/acting coaching and freelance copywriting/editing) that allow me to pay the bills. I've also taught business and entrepreneurship classes to home schooling teens for four years.
Students won't have 'homework,' per se, but they should spend time between classes brainstorming, planning, and taking active steps toward getting their businesses up and running.
Students may be referred to relevant online resources that may help them build their businesses.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
