In this one-time class, learners will bring their favorite doll or teddy bear to a tea party and participate in a meet & greet, sing “Round and Round the Garden” and complete a craft. Feel free to dress up in your fanciest tea time attire.

Class Experience
Below is a sample of all that is involved and developing when your child plays with dolls and teddy bears. - Cognition Develops imaginative play skills as your child cares for their stuffy. Teaches different emotions and relationships as child role-plays. - Fine Motor Skills Practices using feeding utensils while pretending to feed their doll with a spoon or having their teddy bear drink from a cup. Practices self-care skills by dressing and grooming dolls. - Gross Motor Skills Practices dynamic balance skills by placing a stuffy in a chair and rocking a baby in a crib while standing. - Speech and Language Builds vocabulary words, including; Baby, Bear, Teacup, Teapot, Saucer, Hungry, Feed/Eat, Wash.
1 file available upon enrollmentEach child should bring a "show & tell" doll or bear and any other tea set toys they which to share. Please also print out the coloring page that will be sent to you once your child is enrolled. To be completed in class. - paper fasteners or glue - coloring pencils or crayons - scissors Parental assistance may be required for learners not used to using scissors or glue.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
