Teddy Bear Party: A Music, Story Time and More Class!
In this 25 minute class, students will sing, listen to a story, draw and show off their favorite Teddy Bear! (A "Birthday Party" option is available.)

Welcome to our Teddy Bear Party! In this fun class, students will sing, dance, laugh and create! As class begins, students will have the opportunity to briefly introduce themselves and their favorite Teddy Bear, if they wish. Next, we will sing two Teddy Bear songs together, led by Mrs. Butcher. Next, students will learn to draw a couple of bears using basic shapes. (Please bring a few pieces of blank paper and crayons/markers.) Then, Mrs. Butcher will tell story through song and movements. Students can mimic these movements along with the teacher. Lastly, students will listen to a few jokes and sing and dance to a few more Teddy Bear Songs. Learning Goals
Students will...
Keep a steady beat by clapping along to a song and/or dancing to the pulse of the music.
Increase their social skills to introducing themselves and saying a brief hello to classmates.
Expand their hand/eye coordination by mimicking the movements to songs and stories.
Learn to draw a teddy bear using basic shapes.

Supply List
Please bring a couple pieces of blank paper and crayons/markers. Learners are encouraged to bring their favorite Teddy Bear to class, too!
